You are probably wondering why I have a tick in a ziploc… well I played host to this little tick. Actually I’m not sure if it bite me or not and just thinking about it gives me the chills!!! I was helping Ben with the lawn and putting down some insect killer (ironic I know) and afterwards went to shower and found this thing on me! I was wearing, tennis shoes, long socks, jeans, a long sleeve shirt, a short sleeve shirt over that, gloves, etc. and this nasty thing still got past all that. I almost ran out of the bathroom when I saw it, but obviously I didn’t want it to roam around the house! So I caught it, took some pictures, and then smashed it.
Another irony is that it is the “Lone Star” Tick. See that little white dot on it’s back? Pretty crazy and yucky.
